Have a safe and happy holiday season and a happy new year from Neville Stewart Landscaping Ltd.
Neville Stewart Landscaping Ltd’s garden maintenance team has expertly managed this windswept, coastal Otago garden over the last 10 years.
We have carefully selected plants that will thrive on this beautiful but rugged site. Shelter borders planted with Olearia, Phormium, Austroderia toe toe and neighboring Cupressus macrocarpa protect the gardens from the southerly wind and allow fabulous views and sun to the north.
Automatically timed irrigation systems installed and maintained by us give adequate water for this windswept garden.
Fruit for the family is produced from the orchard we planted with companion plants for maximum production and minimum maintenance.
A beautiful display all seasons using NZ Native, Australian and South African plantings that are tough and hardy and low maintenance. Some of these include Pachystegia insignis (Marlborough Rock Daisy), Corokia, Lavendula, Metrosideros excelsior (Pohutukawa), Aeonium, and Arctotis (African Daisy).
This stunning coastal property is filmed beautifully in the following video – click the link below. Video by Clive Copeland Photography.
Over the last couple of weeks Neville has made sure all our staff are up to date with current first aid training.
As we are not all working in the same premise all day this is important. Now we are up to date and confident if anything should happen at work or in the community will be able to act appropriately thanks to Workplace First Aid Training Ltd who gave an interesting, interactive and enjoyable instruction on Workplace First Aid.
Using a Drone for overhead images of a project is an exciting development in the world of Landscaping. We used this technology to show you the Mercy Hospital Culinary Garden Landscape Design development. See our Recent Project page for the finished result. Thanks to Clive Copeland Photography for your fabulous work.
Welcome to Amy our newest staff member at Neville Stewart Landscaping. Amy will be looking after our accounts & wages and you may get her friendly voice when you call the office. Farewell to Debbie who has diligently been in this role for the last 7 years and always with a smile.
Our recent visits to Kaka Point in Southland have resulted in beautiful Landscape Designs for changing the gardens of some completely renovated homes. These homes look like new builds! Modern and stylish with delicious views to the ocean. They required gardens with an upgrade to suit the new architecture and owners’ requirements and plants chosen for a challenging, windy coastal environment. We utilized a strong NZ native planting theme with sheltered outdoor rooms to give options for extending their family living outdoors and making most of the sunshine and georgeous mild days coastal living has to offer.
