When Neville came for an initial consultation on how to breath new life into a somewhat neglected garden I told him I wanted it to be relatively easy care but still with a traditional woodland look. What I have now has exceeded my expectations, with new broader paths that make moving around the garden much easier an a variety of plants and trees that offer interest in every season.
The work was done quickly and efficiently and I was regularly updated and consulted. The laying of the paths was completed during the steady rain that heralded the June 2015 floods and in the morning I got up to find the paths covered with old curtains which had been laid there at 4 am to try and prevent any potential damage. A service that went beyond the call of duty!

n we returned to Dunedin and bought a 1920’s house we contacted Neville to help with clearing and replanting a grossly overgrown drive. Neville revised the planting scheme and his skills as a plantsman came to the fore in his selection in sourcing of new plants.
After alterations to the house, we asked Neville to undertake extensive changes to the garden also. the site was challenging due to complex slopes. the work undertaken included making paths, laying paving, erecting stone retaining walls and a glass house, building raised vegetable beds and planting of shrubs and grasses.
